History of ANEW Tea EmporiumOn June 21st, 2013, Cindy and Andre Van Belkom who have shared a love of loose leaf specialty teas for many years opened Anew Tea Emporium. Cindy had her first cup of loose leaf specialty tea forty years ago and instantly became a tea enthusiast! It is their pleasure to “share all things tea” with the community and all who come through their door! The medicinal benefits, as well as the wonderful tradition of tea is a pleasure they and the Anew staff have a passion for sharing.
In July of 2013, the Van Belkom’s opened the second half of Anew Tea Emporium & Antiques presenting a design center with vignettes of shabby chic antiques, consigned antiques and fine home furnishings, as well as new home decor and April Cornelle bedding.
On April 1st, 2014 the Van Belkom’s completed the third phase of their business plan by adding almost fifty varieties of Ultra-Premium Extra-Virgin Olive Oils, Gourmet Seed Oils, and Fine Aged Balsamic Vinegars, along with gourmet air dried pastas, sea salts, local syrup and raw honey, gluten and dairy free chocolates including melt – away chocolate bars made with their EVOO’s and balsamic vinegars
